Mal ware is a virus that hooks on to websites so that when you click on a website, you could be accepting a virus.

Mal ware comes in lots of forms its can be, spy-ware,viruses,worms and trojan  horses.

All of the above things are very bad for your computer. So next time you click on a website you should stop and think “Is this a good website to be on”.

Backyard reno

In miss Wyatt’s class we have been doing a project. We Had to create a garden and it had to have certain things in it.

And today we had another maths group in our class to score our projects. Some of the scores we got where 91,72.80,81,90 and75. My partner and I where pretty happy with that.

I think my partner done more work then I did because on the first week I was at home sick.

If we could redo it I think it would be alot better because I was at home for the first week so we would of had more done. It was very hard because we only had $5000 to spend. We also had to get the real prices of the Internet to.

The boy with the longest shadow.

Today the hole middle school watched an extreamely good play by the name of “The boy with the longest shadow”

It was all about a boy who had a twin brother, the slightly older brother was a lot more cooler and popular at school and the younger brother wanted to be so much like his brother. So he set up a roster for the days of the week.

Day 1: He took all of his brothers clothes and tryed to be just like him, but it didnt work to well because his brother found out.

Day 2: He thought all cool people were rockstar’s, so he attemted to be one. He played all these different instuments and done a rap but one big bully yelled out ” LOOSER” and everybody herd him so he just went home.

Day 3: He tryed to be a bully so he picked on some grade three’s and then a big bully came over, and said a few things so the brother came back and said ” you mumble all of your words because your dumb and you dont no how to speak properly. But then he felt bad for picking on someone so he went home again.

Day 4: He just stayed in bed.

Day 5: On Friday he just acted himself and he realised he was popular but only to certin people.

Today I learnt be yourself dont let other people tell you who to be, you are your own person be that person not somebody else.

Famouse explorer

John Oxley 1785 to 1828 was a naval officer, surveyor and explorer and was born in England

Exploring the Lachlan Once the Blue Mountains had been crossed in 1813, and the town of Bathurst established the colony wished to expand. Wool had become Australia’s first main industry and more land was needed for sheep. In 1817, Oxley set off to explore the country west of Bathurst.  Evans had discovered the Lachlan River and so Oxley set off to explore this river. Some of the party rode horses while others travelled in boats. They had taken with them salted meat and at the end of each day’s journey would camp and go fishing. This provided a change from the salted food. Tall thick grass made the going very difficult and eventually they found their way was blocked by marshes. Leaving their boats, they started off south west and came across very dry country. The horses became very weak and started to die. The men were forced to eat dingo, emu and snake. The explorers turned orth west and again came across the Lachlan. They continued downstream until they were again blocked again by marshes, causing them to turn back. Oxley believed that the interior was marshland and unsuitable for settlement. Little did he know that he was a few days away from the Murrumbidgee and large areas of good land.  Food was running low, so he returned to Bathurst.

Fractions are very hard!!

For the last three weeks we have been doing fractions. On my first test I got five but on the test we done today I got 12 so I’m pretty happy.

When we started fractions I knew next to nothing about them, but now I know heaps. I could of went better but I’m still happy with what I got.

two very annoying things, one I practiced and practiced but for got it all when I done the test, two half of the stuff I have learnt is hardly ever used in the real world.
